The WW2 Thames Estuary Gun Towers are visible from Whitstable & Herne Bay Kent. Abandoned by the MoD in 1958 they were taken over by Pirate Radio Sutch, later Radio City from 25th May 1964 - 8th February 1967

I received the Radio Sutch picture from you this morning being a pirate radio fan etc I'm pleased to tell it is now hanging on the wall in my studio. I've gone past the station but never got to see inside the fort so I'm more that pleased with the picture. Leave you feedback now and placed you on my fave list. Keep on rockin - Clive White
