The WW2 Gun Platform is just visible from Tankerton & Herne Bay Kent. Abandoned by the MoD in 1949 they were taken over by Pirate Radio Essex, later becoming Britain's Better Music Station (BBMS) from 27th October 1965 - 25th December 1966
