A limited edition fine artwork print produced to mark the 50th anniversary (2014) of the start of the 1st broadcasts from the former WW II Army Towers on the Shivering Sands in May 1964. Using an old Halifax Aircraft Transmitter, domestic audio equipment and dodgy ex-MoD kit Radio Sutch sprang into life with a squeaky weak spasmodic signal on 197 metres to become the 1st radio station to broadcast from the Offshore Maunsell Sea Forts. By September the horror rock singer David Screaming Lord Sutch had tired of the adventure, selling his share to his manager Reg Calvert who with marginally improved equipment and re-branded the station as Radio City on 299 metres 'The Tower of Power'
