BRFM 95.6 use the former Laser Antenna
In October 2004 BRFM won a Community licence so the old Laser antenna sections were brought into service on top of the Minster Cliffs

The site has an interesting history, the current owner acquired the land in 1980, with its unimpeded views across the Thames Estuary: West up the Thames, North to Essex & the East Anglia coastline, & East towards Margate
The left wing of East End House was originally a farm dwelling that the MoD took over in 1939. They added the central round constucted of 12" thick reinforced concrete, with access by wooden ladder type steps to the flat roof. The bow window at the top was an open observation post housing then state of the art calibrated position prediction equipment. Inside the ceiling above the bay is very but the views from the now self contained flat stunning

The single story buildings by the antenna & opposite were the men's barracks

Dry idents were produced in 2004 using a male American voice they also acquired some old ILR jingles & together with the USA voice have been used ever since

It's actually one of the caravan lowered into the hold of the 'Yeoman Rose' & used for Radio London 1997
