We sold the RMF to an enthusiast in Faversham but haven't seen her since

Under Lord Nuffield & BMC the post war 1.5 & 2.5 Litre Riley RM was produced at Abingdon above from May 1949 until superceded by the launch of the Pathfinder in 1953 that used the same lump
I was amazed to see your website, because the RMF used to belong to my brother then living Oxford from 1968-1972.
I remember journeys around Oxfordshire & out to the Cotswolds. My sister-in-law was a social worker & so did quite a large rural mileage. I still have a couple of slides of the car looking much the same, but at that time had two additional front lamps, no flashing indicators, & a bent bumper!
It had been hand-painted by a previous owner, very painstakingly to a high standard with thirteen coats of Valspar black lacquer. We nicknamed the car Vladimir, I believe that the block froze & cracked in the winter of 1972 that was when sadly they disposed Vladimir.
It really was a fine car, the nearest thing to it that I've ever owned so far was a Wolseley 4/44, of which we had two in succession; they were nicely finished & handled very well, but did not have the style or individuality or speed of the Riley & being of monocoque construction, were also seriously corrosion-prone in critical areas.
Presumably the car still exists, restored and tucked away somewhere?
I will get a copy made of the better of the two slides I have and send it on to you .......
I'll also join the RM Club. - Thanks once again and all the best - Nick Walton (Norwich)
