Eagerly waiting the opening of Kings 2010
10 bands competed representing youngsters from the Coastal Towns local schools & collages

First act on stage were 'Midnight Carnival' who comprise remaining members of 'Rise for Every Fall'; Tom, Sam & Scott produce a powerful cross of electro/screamo

'The Bedlem' were originally 'Supernova' their members hail from Herne Bay High & sight Muse & Radiohead as influences

'In Cold Blood' don't hold back the punches hitting out with heavy Machine Head, Lamb of God, Arch Enemy and Cradle of Filth influenced Power Metal

'Yea we're having fun'

'Dani Groombridge' a Langton Girl a contender last year appeared at Kings 2010 as soloist with a much softer set

'Twisted Biscuit' have been together for 3 years representing Langton Boys they opened with a credible cover of Baggy Trousers

It helps to be a little crazy; at the auditions the Judges without exception were impressed with the 'off-beat' 'Atomic Penguins'
Self written their material tells of the perils of today's high speed life

'Enthusiastic audience'

'Ari Scott' last year fronted Covered in Ketchup, with a wealth of experience under her belt writes her own material and looks set for a recording session at our Musical Directors studio

Thanet boys 'Keep Method' have developed a strong local following, they produced a commendable set of original material impressing both the audience and judges alike

'Sunset Leopard' come out of Herne Bay High, competent and confident they've brought in Megan Catling formerly of Rose Above Thorns amongst their set an inspiring cover of Lady Gaga's -'Bad Romance'

The young and newly 3 month formed 'Slam Funk' comprise a massive line up of 12 and guests
Fresh out of Langton Girls their talent belies their age with a masterful rendition of numbers from the likes of Etta James, Aretha Franklin and James Brown
