MX5 Bodiam Run

Of the MX5 Owners Club (South East) run to Bodiam Castle in East Sussex

Assembling at Etchingham Railway Station

A total of 18 vehicles were to take part

Ready for the off

With cars departing at 1 minute intervals

The first arrivals at the coffee stop

"The Jack Fullers Arms - Brightling" above pictured in 1834

The rest arrive in the car park with rolling hills of the Down Land behind

Any colour but these three like RED

Discussions & smiles in the garden before phase two of the run

Whilst others sip coffee & stronger stuff

Pubs namesake Jack Fuller from 1832 looks on

Level crossing as a K & ESR (Kent & East Sussex Railway) locomotive passes through

Hauling dining carriages at Sunday Lunchtime
Trains run from Tenterden Station to Bodiam

Bodiam Castle grounds

Picnic lunches

The beautiful National Trust Bodiam Castle dating from 1385

Ducks & Koi Carp fight over scraps of bread in the moat

The K & ESR heads back to Tenterden
