The actual 558 transmitter crystal cut & supplied by Continental Electronics in America

Stamped on one flat side with C. S. I. C34104 it also carries the 558 khZ frequency on the top as shown

This crystal was used for all the Laser 558 output maintaining the frequency of all your favourite Laser Lad & lovely Laserettes programmes

Removed by radio engineers when the ship was being refited on the Stour in Harwich
