Pump out is estimated to have cost £10,000 in terms of man hours, equipment and crew transfers. Working below sea level in a damp salty environment risks constant threat of electrocution and had to be at least a 2 man operation at all times. When the towers had finally been cleared of water the crew had an almighty party with every single person of the 8 people involved should be proud of their efforts. It's thought that had the water remained a further month, the corrosion would have been un reversible
